I’m a bit different in that I find beauty in the unconventional and the sort-of-hideous things in life, and I’m so intrigued when I find other artists that do too. Photographer Pamela Littky is great at it. Her collection of photographs from Death Valley capture the genuine reality of the hot crotch of California in a way that focuses on the idea of a raw minimalism; naked elderly, litter and cigarettes, money pasted on a ceiling. HUM Creative made the photographs even more unique by designing the packaging that promoted the book: complete with matches, sunscreen, and even a s’mores kit!
Another reason I’m a fan of Littky’s, she gets to take pictures of the most popular musicians and actors out today…Lucky Dog.
